CMA CGM’s NEMO service to call Kattupalli on May 16

CMA CGM, the world’s third largest container shipping line, has announced a Kattupalli port call for its flagship NEMO service. This will be an ad hoc call and is scheduled for May 16, 2015, informed a company release.

The Box Emma Voy 5112 A will be the first direct Europe main liner call at Kattupalli.

CMA CGM is the first main line operator to have a direct mother vessel call ex-Chennai to the Europe and Mediterranean through the NEMO service, highlighted the communiqué. This is in keeping with its commitment to the South India trade at large and Chennai in particular.

Some of the salient features of the NEMO service are:

* Direct Europe and Med service with faster transit times

* Capability to carry both bulk cargo and OOG

* Reefer capacity of 400 to 500 plugs

* Gates open 27/04/2015
